Three Notch Group, Inc., a privately held engineering firm, announced the addition of a new stockholder – Transportation Practice Leader Matt Hawes. Hawes joined 18 other firm employee-owners responsible for providing operational direction.

Three Notch Group President and CEO Mark Pugh commented on the addition of the new partner, stating,

“Over the years, Matt has been pivotal in driving progress within Three Notch Group’s transportation practice and has been a tremendous asset to the firm as a whole. As a partner of the firm, he will continue to provide critical insight and help Three Notch Group continue to grow.”

Hawes joined the firm in 2006 and became a partner of Three Notch Group after serving four years as a firm associate. Hawes is a licensed professional engineer with more than 15 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management, including transportation design, site design, and public utilities.

As the transportation practice leader, Hawes is responsible for leading a team of professional, technical, and administrative staff while providing project identification, management, and consulting services. Hawes holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Auburn University.

“At Three Notch Group, we strive to constantly build on our mix of employee-partners to better prepare for the firm’s next generation of leadership and ensure the company’s future success,” Pugh said.
