A release of approximately 15,000 gallons of gasoline was reported for the site based on inventory records, and Three Notch Group conducted emergency response and investigative activities. Due to the volume of liquid-phase hydrocarbon, and the proximity of a creek to the site, Three Notch Group recommended a Multi-phase Vacuum Extraction (MPVE) system be installed at the site. The system is connected to a network of seven recovery wells. Vapor emissions are treated by activated carbon, and treated groundwater is discharged to the City of Auburn sanitary sewer system.
